Hey Roadrunner; Yes Batawa is still there but the shoe plant is closed and Bata Engineering is now owned by Invar. I grew up in Batawa and attended Bayside from the very beginning when we shared Trenton High because the school wasn't completed. It would be great to hear from some of the old Batawa and Frankford gang.

Y are not the only one who remembers my driving.............. when I think back, I am lucky to be alive. I keep it to 20k over the limit now

I lived in Frankford from about 1982 until about 1991, attended Frankford PS from 82-84 and then moved on to BSS from 84-89. I remember many of the names seen above and of course many more. I played some hockey with Rob and Joe Collins as a young adult and knew several of the Brennan clan. Seems like a lifetime ago

Does anyone remember when they took out the 4 way stop signs and put the traffic lights in at the 4 corners...a bunch of us would go down there and bet how many drivers would forget the lights were there....lol
