Bayside is now a French Immerson school. God I remember when I went there I didnt want to even take French. Does anyone know when it switched to French Immerson?

Does anyone remember the Cave? We used to go there because they always served minors and the draft was cheap! Then we would go to Copperfields. Is the Rockin Royal still up and running? They had the wet t right? Nasty! Then there was Dolan's in Belleville. They had one of those washrooms where you had to pay a dime to use.

I understand the Cave closed years ago. Copperfields is now a athletics club. The Royal was changed to a strip club and it has since closed. And Dolan's Im not sure of .. I think its still there but under a different name. We used to drink at the Cave and the Dutch Mill Iinn. It was torn down to make way for a No Frills and Canadian Tire. So seems all the good places that didnt check ID are gone. The Sherwood Forest Inn is still open but back in my day it was a place you wanted to stay away from, not sure what its like now.

Well, the Sherwood, it is a strip club, popular for Trenton folk but unpopular amongst everyone else. Dolans did close and it is under a new name. Anyone remember the Boo? That has closed down and a new strip club opened in it's place.
I took the french immersion myself. The transportation technology classroom has been moved and modified. The drama class is now in half of that class. Nowadays, it's hard to say for definite where some of the classes are, because of the numbers, they can range from classes being in the cafetorium or french being held upstairs (the old business area) as opposed to moderns.

I live near the new"BOO" now called the GO GO Club, it is not a nice experience. Back in the 70's the Sherwood was the place to go to buy drugs. Not that I have ever been in there...lol. Bayside when it opened was a new design for schools, A open area concept. I like the partions, it made talking to someone else in another class easier.

Well, Bayside now has a track... Not the greatest but still a track... We also have a girls rugby team and have won in the last two years, actually, this year, the girls get to play worldwide I think... I thought Bayside always had a football team. It has (all supposed to be plural) tennis team, cross crountry, basketball, badminton, volleyball, soccer, rugby, football, swimming, basically you name it. We haven't had a wrestling team in a while though, I think it was in 2001 when they had one.

I was on Bayside's first rugby team back in 92-93, freaking hilarious! We had only 15 guys try out, so we didn't have any subs. Blake Whiticker was the only guy on the team that knew how to play, so the rest of us were learning from scratch. We scored one try all season!!!! Hopefully the team has evolved since then.....

Bayside had a junior and senior football team when I was there. At the time they were one of the best teams in the area. I think we had a rugby team too, or maybe it was lacrosse.

Bayside had a junior and senior football team when I was there. During the 4 years I was at BSS they never once had a football team, had something to do with either budget or was it they were worried about injuries?!?...I'm not into football so it didn't matter much to me LOL it was just one of those "dang, why does every other school have it" things

Bayside's first Rugby team was not in 92-93... as my brother Tom played on the Rugby team when we were at the school in 82-84... it must have died out. If the kind of bruises my brother came home with were any indication...these guys were tough. And, they used to regularly beat the crap out of Trenton High... were there no yearbooks left over as a record anywhere??? As for Football, there was no football during our years in the 1980's much to my brother's chagrin...hence the Rugby.

In the 70's Bayside had one the best sports programs with the football teams ranking right near the top. Wonder if any Bayside athelete went on to become big in the chosen sport?
