Some pics of our menagerie. We bought many of our horses because we felt sorry for them. The cats were drop offs or strays. The hazards of owning a farm but we get all of them fixed and vaccinated. Most are barn cats. We don't turn any away and we never burden the humane society. Sadly we now have our own pet cemetery on the farm.
Mishii is a pure bred Arabian mare and an absolute sweetheart.
Brittany is a pure bred Standard bred and retired harness pacer.
Kaz is a pure bred Arabian gelding from Russia. Here he is ridden by a friend at a show.
Pevensey was an abused cat we fostered then kept.
Chakotay and Jaden are brothers and showed up at our door as kittens during a storm with their feral mother. We took all three in.
Kantaras was dropped off on our door step - literally. He was about 4 weeks old.
Simon is our latest addition and quite a card. He was a drop off our neighbor tried to solve with his car. We found him in our hayloft with a broken and paralyzed tail. He is fine now.
Reagan and Harrison are interested in what Simon is up to.
In Memory: Justice was a Morgan cross and is buried on the farm under his favorite tree.
Clarence was a stray chased away by our neighbors. He is buried in our growing pet cemetery.
We have many more cats but I fear if I post their pics I'm going to look like that crazy cat woman off The Simpsons who walks around mumbling and throw cats at people.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our pics. Please post yours.
Cheers, SJ

Enjoyed your sharing of pet photos.
I've got one dog, but sister Morgan has five. Jane has two. And Teresa one, the dog my late mother had before her death last summer. I think Carroll has one dog.
And we had lots of budgies in our youth, as dad was a breeder, using the basement.
