Lance, call me a pack rat I suppose. But those old yellowing newspaper clippings, photos and other BSS paraphernalia, are memory treasures. I know a lot of our peers have to depend on our parents to keep the clippings, cards, photos et al related to our high school years. I even have all my report cards from elementary school, which is neat to peruse, thanks to our mother putting them in a box. While she might have thrown out some great hockey/baseball cards and other goodies during our many military transfers, I'm glad I have access to my school records and other goodies. Some people only have their yearbooks. It was fun to find my "pefect" math test from Mr. Harris' Grade 11 class. And to look at it now, brings back memories of actually doing well in mathematics with Harris being the teacher. And sitting beside Andrea Tufts, of course. Such a sweetie. Maybe your mom has the clippings up in the Soo, in a box marked Art, Lance, Carrie - school stuff. It's nice to have your past in tangible items. Piques the interest, especially if you are recalling your youth playing sports with the Red Devils and BSS colours. So, call your mom and get hold of this stuff. I can at least make donations to a BSS museum one day, eh.

Yes Jules I shall have to ask my mom next time I talk to her and find out if she has any old memorabilia from the younger high school days. I spoke with her the other day and she wanted to know if anyone had an extra copy of the 1975 year book or where she could get one otherwise..... any ideas? cheers Lance ps. I'm not saying keeping the stuff is a bad thing I just never kept any of it. ;D

LANCE-I TOO DID NOT KEEP ALL THOSE CLIPPINGS, MEDALS ETC FROM HIGH SCHOOL DAYS. I HAD HUNG ONTO THEM FOR YEARS AND YEARS BUT EVENTUALLY DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO LIGHTEN SOME OF THE STORAGE CRAP AROUND THE HOUSE. SO, NOW THEY ARE GONE AND I WISH I HAD THEM!!! ISN'T IT ALWAYS THE WAY. I KEEP SO MUCH STUFF FOR MY CHILDREN=NOW I WILL KNOW NOT TO LIGHTEN THE STORAGE LOAD WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR SCHOOL/SPORTING MEMORABILIA!!! TERESA
