Here's a wee funny anecodote about Mr. Read, who was actually really nice and gave the bands great support at the time....so this is not intended to slant him.but we thought it was pretty funny at the time. He once lent me his red jacket for a concert as I had just joined the band and the uniform was a red jacket, white shirt/trousers...and wait for it....a birdnuts yellow tie!!!!! Actually I think a colour blind advisor got the job of picking the uniform!!! Anyway.... I was happy to have a jacket for the concert BUT....in one of the pockets found one of those little tiny, mini bottles.......of Seagrams Whisky!!! I guess Mr. Read was a bit more stressed out on the job than he looked...lol.Great guy though...thanks again Mr. Read!!!

I was never sent to Mr. Reid's office however, I remember walking down the hall one day during Study Period (at that time, grade 11 and 12 students did not have to stay in the library) and bumping into Mr. Reid.
He asked why I was not in class. I explained to him "This is my study period and I ain't got nothin' to do." Well,... I spent the next couple of days writing an essay on the use of double negatives for him. By the way, did you know he was an English major? I found out that tidbit that day.
