Way to go Elaine, the first week is usually the hardest but it seems you are doing good. Now it is just the adjustment of going to work every day which in itself can be hard to get adjusted to.And to think we all thought tests were over with when we left school.LOL your nerves will settle but you know that and I am sure you will succeed at this job especially since you like it.

Way to go Elaine, that is great!!!!!!!!! Phones are no problem, you will ace that in no time. I remember working for Local Procurment in Borden and I was scared, I mean really scared of the phones!! Used to do everything else to get out of talking on the phone, but the within a few months I WANTED to talk on the phone and did that week first!! so it can be done!LOL! Well as far as my week, let's just say I have had better........I had to say bye to a few guys on Thurs while they went off to fight the war in Afganistan I know it's their job and all and we have to fight the fight but I have known these guys for over 18 months and it's hard to say goodbye.....I am just hoping t hey all come home safe I work in a Jr Ranks Barracks and you get to know them when they are coming out of showers in towels and then dressed in uniform a few minutes later...Just part of the benefits of the job!LOL!(Thought I would add that for Elaine!!!!!!!) But on a good note...holidays start next week so we are Toronto bound...make sure you all wave to me when I am waving from the CN tower ;D Kids wanted to go to Toronto this year to see the tower and hockey hall of fame and all the touristy stuff........should be fun!!

I would say that is the best thing to say about my week as well Wanda - had better but on the positive I have had worse.LOL That has to be hard seeing them leave for duty to a war zone and I too went through that gammet of emotions when Brian( Tony) would call from places he could not tell me about. It is hard and he is still serving and has recently been posted to Ottawa. Holidays ? No habla lol I work 7 days a week and have been doing that since nov 03.I am really looking forward to a holiday but at least the weekends are short days.Give me a time and I will look east and wave but make sure you are on the west side or I wont see ya. The tower was still being built when I first lived in T.O. and a bunch of us got ripped and climbed the then suicide fence on the observation deck.Man we were somewhat wild and out of control but I am better now thank god. Have a good time while you are there it all sounds awesome. My day will come.take care

ok I will wave at 11 my time facing east of course so watch for me.LOL Well before the observation deck was enclosed they let you go there and all they had up at that time was a suicide fence which some of us climbed to see what down looked like we were not on there long but we got a view I will never forget and which to my thinking cant be seen anymore due to the fact that the deck is now enclosed.
enjoy the view and the holiday, and yes we WERE reckless then now i am just adventurous.

That's an interesting fact..I can't wait to see the view. And what do you do now to be adventurous? I guess if you are working so much there isn't much time but I bet out in BC there are lots of new surroundings to find. I know out here there is but then half the time they tell you to be careful b/c black bears are known to creep up anywhere...like in my neighbours back yard last night

The view that you see will be out to the horizon but the one we saw was straight down. You are right about not having time to be adventurous but having extensively travelled b.c. i do know there is lots to see and the scenery is some of the most spectacular I have had the pleasure of seeing. I know about wildlife in the yards we have deer all over the place year round and wolves and of course the odd bear. But after roaming the streets of Vancouver late at night I know wherever you are animals are.Spotted foxes porcupines raccoons in the west end of Vancouver so anyplace there is food is home enough for them.

Okay guys Week 2...lol Had my mid term got 35 out 35..100%... why couldnt I get grades like this in school??? Have tracking down to a science and even found a short cut the trainer didnt know about, man do I feel special..I have three days left in training till Im in Streamline.. Im taking calls and have someone walking around to help us. We doublejacked today.. listened in on calls and I even took one or two, so Im good to go. Now with Dell recalling notebook batteries and we are doublejacking most of the rest of the week I think me is gonna be busy. How was everyones weekend? I slept most of mine. I had serious brain drain. But hey I'm 46 and the trainer says I'm doing way better than most of the kids he has trained before. So I feel good.

Good thing one girl failed the last test and failed the rewrite and they fired her in the class..ouch..Another guy missed today cos he was sick and they canned him too. tough work environment. Took 20 live calls today and wow some people are rude.So now I am off for the weekend, godo thing cos I am wiped. I'm in again at 8.30 am Monday morning.. no weekend work for me...lol like them bankers hours. Have a nice weekend and GUYS thanks for all the support and encouragement. Elaine
