Yep my brother is Rob.. He lives in Nova Scotia. He moved there two years ago with my brother Glen from Winnipeg to take care of my mom after my dad passed away. I live in Belleville after a long stint in Winnipeg too. I moved back here 6 years ago. I have three kids 22 19 17 and brought them back here to enjoy the quiet simple life.

Hi Darrell I saw your posting...I am sorry to hear about Greg. I was not so close as to call him friend but I knew and hung around with his group. I was in Toronto when he was there and stayed with me for a couple of weeks. He did graduate in 75 with me.He hung around Carol Mckay, Ray Bruneau, Brian Martin, Alan Stevenson, Richard Wagner. He was in the BSS version of Monty Pythons Flying Circus and the Camera Club. He was close to Marina Barron I think he married her...and I looked you up in the 75 yearbook...you were in Trent 3 Grade 10 I believe with Miss B.Harrigan as home room teacher. Greg was not afraid to follow his own lead and I always admired him for that. If you would like to talk please feel free to e-mail me. John Fulton

Hi John,Thank you for sharing that with me.I do remember Greg as being the go get it type and whatever he did he did till he was good.I did not know that Marinna and he knew each other at school but hey I was the kid brother and we did not see eye to eye nor did we hang together. He introduced me to monty python and I still watch it to this day.ALBATROSS LOL.I remember the name but was Miss harrigan one of the gym teachers?I would like to know if anyone could post a pic of Greg and for that matter me and Janice and of course little bro Brian(Tony),with the wanderings of my life I have lost all that I had from that time. Thanks for your words and the info you shared. It is good to hear from people who knew Greg.I will be in touch take care. I would like to add the name Philip James Lawson to the list of former Bayside Students who have passed away.
Phil was just 30 years old when he died......on August 28, 1991 in Oshawa General Hospital, after a long illness.
Phil was active in the theatre program at Bayside, and it clearly honed his talents. When he and I shared an apartment in Toronto, he spent many hours entertaining friends with his quick wit, razor sharp sense of humour, and his ability to mimic almost anyone.
I miss him terribly....he was my best friend for many years.

Shannon Quann Graduated in 1985 ish Died around 1990 in a dunk driving car accident I think Shannon was always a little unbalanced and dangerous but he had his good moments. Knew Shannon for a few years while he dated Shaunna Moore, and I was seeing Mike Sadler. Nice guy all the time I knew him, was sad to hear he passed on and more sad that no one knows for sure, train, car drunk, suicide .......I wold like to know the truth.

We lost David Rutledge (Burns Avenue) 1979-1983(?) around 1998 or 1999. I remember most the ink drawings that he did for the school. They were always hung for special occasions and PTA functions and such. I hope the school still has them. I also remember the the video project we made in public school somewhere around grade 4 - 'Carkeys and Clutch.'

Hey Ray Just reading, and found out about Paul. Wow what a shock. Have great memories of Paul, from both BSS and the Trenton Mac's. Last time i saw him i guess was in 2000, at my dad's memorial game at bain park (now the cosmo declerq soccer pitch) partly due to his work. a great optimistic outlook. he will be missed. my condolences to you and all the family.

Gerard Maier Class of '86 1535 Aikens Rd.
Son of Lloyd & Marie-Helene Maier; brother of Philippe & Melissa-Anne.
Born 13 JUNE 1967 -- Died 9 FEBRUARY 1990 in Peterborough, ON @ Trent University 22 years old Gerard was a wonderful fellow and became rather involved with the varsity rowing programme @ Trent University and aspired to row for Canada in the Commonwealth Games one day. He died in his sleep -- his heart just stopped. The Trent University Rowing Club named an 8-man rowing shell in his memory, the highest honour that can be paid to a rower. I also heard that Kim Walker (b. 11 JULY 1967) was killed in a car crash near Kingston several years ago, but have never been able to confirm that rumour. Kim was heavily involved in the Air Cadets @ CFB Trenton and was the yearbook coordinator in 1985-86.
