Music is such a major part of high school memories. But the ones that sick out are, Pour Some Sugar On Me, that one was always booming out of someones car. Also for some reason, Love in an Elevator. I think Brian Dean sang that one at a talent show, well did some lip sinking to it.

The classic from Green Day: Time of Your Life
That's always reminded me of Bayside because I have such good memories and have seen people change over the years.

For me it was anything from Def Leppard and the Pet SHop Boys...Everytime I hear those groups, I think of good ole "CLUB CEDARS"!!!!

When I think of my years at Bayside so many songs come to mind. Mainly Blondie. Like "Heart of Glass".
I remember Mrs Thurlby (Art) prowling the halls cracking a bull whip behind students. I remember this because I provided the whip. She would follow students cracking the whip singing Blondie's "One Way or Another."
ONE WAY OR ANOTHER I'LL FIND YA I'LL GET YA I'LL GET GET GET GET GET YA ONE WAY OR ANOTHER
I also remember Michael Jackson's "Thriller", "Billy Jean" and "Beat It".

Definitely Forever Young by Alphaville? Or anything U2. But I was definitely rockin' the Def Leppard too... and oddly enough Phil Collins. I guess I had an eclectic taste of sorts...

The song that reminds me the most of the 70's at Bayside.. I Love Rock and Roll.. simply because it was always played at the school dances. I think the 70's was the time when everyone experimented everything Mom and Dad told you not to in high school

Club Cedars was a rockin' great place in Belleville where quite a few grad parties were held in the early 80's. They let us bring in liquor... Horrors now I am sure... but hey it was the early 80's. I'm sure it's long gone now... I can't for the life of me tell you where in Belleville it was, but for Grad 1984... my brother's year, it was held there and the Bopcats just rocked the house. Ooooo that was quite a trip down memory lane.

Thanks Rose, atleast I don't feel so adle brained now, I was trying to recall a place in the school with that nick name LMAO. We had our grad (89) on a cruise boat in the 1000 Islands, great Idea except for the fact it was pitch black and most of us were under age, but it's the thought that counts, I can't recall getting there but I do remember that atleast (and I was sober ) LOL. School dances always had to have Raise a Little Hell, of course the traditional final song was Stairway to Heaven. I remember seeing the Bopcats too Rose... how could I forget!!! And one more song for Rose, how about Rainbow Connection.

Okay Gator... (Brian...) Weren't the Bopcats GREAT??? Dear god we must have lost 20 pounds in sweat alone dancing that night!!!! Oh...and the freaking RAINBOW CONNECTION! Thanks, I actually forgot about that one... what were we thinking??? For those of you who were not at Bayside for Grad 82... some other lovely ladies and myself sang that one at the grad ceremony. Anne Johnson and I also did that duet The Wherefore and the Why... maybe like a Gordon Lightfoot song??? Had to be better than Kermit! That's just brought back a flood or should I say "flashback" of memories Brian!
