It was "Stairway to Heaven" at Bayside in the 70s that I remember. I remember the smoking court right by the cafeteria, lunch hours they played Cheech and Chong. When and where is this reunion? Annie

"Forever Young" by Alphaville was the "theme song" of the Class of '86 -- also the title of the yearbook for that year.
I was just thinking about Club Cedars and sitting by the waterfall just to get a breath of fresh air without going outside.
For graduation in 1985 we had "The Sthingys" play at the Batawa Community Centre.
In 1986 we chartered one of the Thousand Islands paddlewheelers for a "romantic cruise" around the Bay of Quinte in the dark.

wow someone mentioned Consilium ( not sure of the spelling ) I think they were the band that played at the dance the night before my family left to drive out to BC . I used to have a poster of them that everybody signed for me and gave me that night . Unfortuanatly I can't find it anywhere so it must have got tossed out in move . Another band I remember playing at the school was Madwin we all thought they were great . I don't know if I could pick one song to reming me of those days as there was lots good stuff . Always listen to the Stones and at every party that I went to in those days Eagles Greatest Hits Vol 1 , Changes One Bowie , Aerosmith Rocks were pretty much always in rotation .

I would have to say "Forever Young" by Alphaville. Lyrics were printed at the front of the '84/'85 yearbook. Think my sister Shannon still has hers.
