I was a Air force Brat and silly me I married someone in the military - what was I thinking! I must say that the military life has been good to me. I lived in Middleton Park from 63-73, then headed back there 76-78. I have fond memories of growing up in the Q's. Always lots of kids to play with.

I've been through the Q's recently....What a hole. When we lived there, most people took pride in the house they lived in. Nothing bu t a dump now. Sad really!

I was a base brat. I lived there from 87-91, the bus ride home from school was never dull. I lived in #1 Mc Gill. It was silver and there was a pink one across the road, the military knew how to deck a house out! I remember having a big party there and some MP's came to the door so everyone went running out the back door without shoes and slipping in the mud. There was a silhouette of about 50 kids standing on the hill behind my house. A guy named Stan who was of age was left in the house having to explain the loud music all the booze and shoes! Amazingly enough no one got charged.

Lived in Middleton Park from 1980-84... well only the summers of '83 and '84 as I was away at university those years. I can recall many a party as above where the MP's came and no one got into tooooo much trouble. I also ran the "Summer Fun" program on the base from 82-84.... any base 'kids' out there remember that recreation program??

Hey Donnie, no brother, I am an only child. I remember you had a younger brother named Rick right? Do you have another brother too? For some reason I remember 3 of you. I think you are a year or two older then me. I hung out with Mickey Peterson, Jody Dove, Nicci Scardino. I will post some old pics when I get time. So you are a cop eh? I could see that. I have a friend who is a cop and he always has the best stories for us. Take care.

Hey Trish,
Yeah, Rick, Bob, and my younger sister Lisa. She is currently at the Ontario Police College. She got hired on at Durham with me. Rick is in Windsor, married to Nicole Groves, two kids, and Bob is a newly wed, and recently diagnosed with Leukemia...But doing well!

I had all 3 of you mixed up. I thought you went out with Nicole and I thought Rick was the youngest. I went to an old year book and now it all makes sense. Bob was a year younger then me. I am very sorry to hear that he has leukemia. But glad to hear that he is doing well. I wish him all the best. Sounds like he has a lot of support! So Rick and Nicole got married.... talk about a long term relationship! Pretty impressive!
I am married and have 2 boys ages 10 and 8! I work as a Special Needs Assistant in a public school. Living in Winnipeg. Do you remember Corey Smith? He lives here, he actually worked at Air Canada with my husband. Justine Duncan is a teacher here. They were both base brats too. Hopefully more people will find out about his site.
