Steve, I totally remember the short cut through the woods. I used to work at Dairy Queen and to get home quicker I would run like a mad woman through the woods, in the dark! It was better then walking all the way around. Are those woods still there?

Hey Trish and Don you guys are the only ones that I recognize from the base brats. the only thing is that I lived on the south side. I was there in 2004 over night at the new Yukon lodge that is much like a journeys inn I stayed over night in the old one for a night in 1997 on my way to Bosnia, what a difference. The house that I lived in is now a new hospital. Anyway it's good to see some familiar names and hope to see more

The woods along side of the DQ are gone now. There was a young girl killed around there a few years ago, so dont know if thats why they cut them down or if they are building something in there.

I lived on Regina Crescent in 1979 and went to Breadner School for Grade 1. I remember our pmq was a one and a half story and it was silver.

Hey Mark and Jody, I remember the old Yukon Lodge, one summer I was living with Jody and we were working at the Base in the Kitchen serving cadets. Her parents went away on holidays and we decided to have a couple of parties. When her parents came back her mom found a closet full of empties we had not yet disposed of along with some other problems with the house. Her mom said she was so mad all she could she was red! Anyway we were grounded (I guess) but we went out anyway because we figured we could always live at the Yukon Lodge for like 12 bucks a night (for the rest of the summer). I kinda wish we did, hey Jodes.

I had a halloween party on McEwen one year and my parents made my brother and I walk up both sides of the street the next day and pick up all the empties. The MP's came to the house and all...crazy dayz.

Hey Fleeter (aka Casper)... I think I was at that party. Was that the one that Jeff Maryatt got annihilated at and we had to carry him home and pour him into bed? Although I never lived in Middleton Park, I was a military brat. There were so many good parties there, I can't remember which one was which but I always seemed to have a great time!
