People sometimes are so cruel.I am sorry to hear that. And what else is there to do but talk about it? Someday you won't but until then, you need to.

Well Wanda I never got to know Mr. Read and had a run in wiht him the night of the snowstorm.I was sitting in the cafeteria afetr getting back from the public school where some of us had fought the storm to get hot dogs to the kids there.Upon our return some of us went to the caf and listened to the jam sessions.I was sitting with my feet up on a chair when patty(raymond mckays g/f) asked if she could sit down,I said yes and she sat on my lap.moments later Mr read tapped me on the shoulder and told us both to get to the office. He started in about how he would have none of that behaviour in his school, when I tried to tell him nothing was going on he snapped at me about how I should stay quiet as I was in ebough trouble.I promptly told him to f off and slammed the office door on my way out.He tyold me not to go to school monday and I did not but when my sister came home that day she gave me a note of apology from Mr Read. I had only defended myself as I knew patty only wanted me as a friend and we were just sitting there. So thats one of my memories of high school Darrell

Ouch!! that would make me mad too........... Well you have to give him credit for a note to you.
Sure you were prob mad but he's only seeing what he is seeing.
The more and more I hear on here the more I know that I couldn't handle what he did.

Mr. Read had a special way of getting his point across without being overly mean. Sometimes just a look from him was all that was needed. lol

Yup Mr Read did have a look and I was one of the people who got that look a lot.I was not a badass by any means but I did confront authority and did make stupid mistakes.I will always remember Mr Read though as he did look at all sides of an issue and was not afraid to admit when he had been wrong.Takes a strong man to do that.
