Jules Jules Jules, you are a funny man ;D.... yes I meant snacks! not snakes, but fries and snakes might be interesting....I know you can't help yourself with the proof reading because you are a news and sports editor type guy so I 'll let it slide . You would do well to help with suggestions for the reunion and how to get people interested in it so the eight of us registered are not meeting at Swiss Chalet for the reunion dinner by ourselves. Suggestions like we will all need name tags and who will look after registry at the door? (I'm assuming it will be held at B.S.S.) How many Tim Bits? Will there be punch? Should there be a small buffet? or lots of cold cuts, cheese and deserts? etc. etc. lots of questions.... cheers Lance

Hi everyone,
Sorry for being out of touch for so long. I have been going through some major life changes which may include moving further away from the Belleville area (I'm currently in Toronto). I also travel a great deal for work so I have struggled with keeping on top of this.
Anyways, first and foremost a huge kudos to Sarah for creating the website. Second of all I just want to be very clear that I am totally up for helping with the reunion/being on the committee but I definitely don't think that I should by any means be in charge of this event. I wanted to start the thread because I had been speaking to Melanie Hazelton (Class of 1995) and Bev Boyd (still at Bayside) about the reunion.
I am happy to participate as a representative from the 1990's (and I think that maybe Melanie and her brother Fred may also be interested). Maybe someone that was around for the last reunion and lives closer to Belleville should be in charge of this thing. I also don't have any family in the area anymore, so my ties/contacts are pretty much non-existent in that city. I am simply happy to volunteer my time when I can.
Is anyone willing to put their hat in the ring as official Chair? Then our fearless leader can advise the rest of us where they could use our help.
Also, please let me know how the contacts with Mr. Harris come along. I can also speak with Mrs. Boyd again to see what sort of leads/advice she can give us.
thanks, Shannon

Hi all
My brother and sistersattended Quintes reunion last year. by all accounts a great success. I have asked if they have any committee contacts. Why reinvent the wheel.... someone locally could meet and find out the what they did right/wrong. I know every hotel room in about a 30k radius was booked. Who should i direct info too once i get it? Also at this point i would presume the voting over date is a mute point. Pick a date and let's go for it. People will either make it or not. Last one I couldn't but will love to make it this time.

Hi,
The band I'm in (The FarSide) performed at Quinte's reunion - our contact was Mary Maracle - they had quite an extensive comittee
Their website is still up "http://www.quintereunion.com/"
Might be worth a look.

And once again I nomimnate The Far Side for performing at the reunion. Casper, AKA, Fleeter always was a bit of a punk rock star.
